Lending service

Any student or member of staff at KU Leuven can contact the Media and Learning Unit lending service to arrange to borrow audiovisual equipment such as audio recorders, video cameras, LCD monitors, LCD projectors and so on. This service is free of charge. You can use the equipment to develop your own multimedia materials or to play them within KU Leuven.

You need to reserve in good time in order to borrow equipment. At the time of reserving, an agreement will also be made about when you will collect and return the equipment. When you borrow equipment, you will also be given advice on how to use it properly and tips on how to achieve the best results. Anyone who borrows equipment from the Media and Learning Unit must declare their acceptance of the user agreement.

  • 12.30 to 14.30 every working day
  • Note: during the summer months, the lending service is only open on Mondays and Fridays – until the start of the academic year.

Are you looking for equipment for other (private) purposes, such as a student party, a wedding, etc.? Media and Learning Unit cannot be used for such purposes: instead, contact the lending services of the province of Flemish Brabant (only Dutch) or the city of Leuven (only Dutch).
